AI-powered smart living.

Helping Australian families, communities and care providers create safer, smarter and more connected living environments.

We are not a smart device shop. We design the intelligence that runs a home — working with the brands you already own, and keeping your voice inside your own four walls.

Meet Pia · In development

One butler. Connected to your life.

Pia is the personal AI butler we are building for Smart U Home. Talk to it through the mobile app or, at home, through the Smart Home Box. It asks for your approval before it books, buys or shares anything.

Concept video, AI-generated. Not a live product recording.

In the room, out loud

  • “Turn the living room lights off.”

Lights off. No phone, no app, no menu.

  • “Has Mum been up this morning?”

Answered from her own home’s sensors. No camera in her bedroom.

  • “It’s cold in here.”

Heating on, blinds down, at the temperature she likes.

Examples of what the prototype does today. Smart U Home is pre-launch — the system is not yet available to buy.

Three kinds of Australian home.
One system underneath.

The technology is the same. What changes is what it is asked to do, and who it answers to.

Families & home owners

Lights, climate, locks, cameras and power on one system that speaks plain English — whatever brands are already on the walls.

Business & community

Aged care and NDIS providers, builders, property developers and community housing — designed to be fitted out once and looked after across a whole portfolio.

Privacy

Your voice stays
in your house.

This is a commercial promise, not a paragraph in a policy nobody reads. It is the reason the system is built the way it is.

Understood at home

Speech is processed by a device sitting in the house. It is not recorded, and it is not sent overseas to be listened to.

Works when the internet doesn’t

If the connection drops, the lights, locks, sensors and alarms keep doing their job. Nothing in the house waits on a server.

Yours to keep, export or delete

What the system learns about your household belongs to your household. We never sell it and we never train on it. Anything backed up is sealed so that we could not read it even if we wanted to.

The system is being designed to treat health and care information as sensitive information under Australian privacy requirements.

One system.
Any brand.

Philips Hue, Aqara, Yale, Ring, Eufy, Broadlink and thousands of other devices working side by side. Nothing you already own gets thrown away, and you are not locked into one manufacturer’s walled garden.

Where we are up to

Smart U Home is an Australian technology company developing this platform. It is pre-launch: here is exactly what runs today and what does not.

Working now

Speaking to the house and being understood, entirely on site. Control of real devices across brands. A working phone app. Household data kept inside the home by default, with access controlled by the household.

In build

The self-setup wizard, installer tooling, and the carer and provider dashboard.

Next stage

Real-home pilot deployment, service integrations and the tools needed to support rollout.
